We are accepting abstract submissions January 8, 2018 through March 28, 2018. The guidelines for abstract submission are below. There are three options for presenting this year: an oral presentation, a poster, or a Lightning Talk.
Oral presentations will be 15 minutes in length, which includes 2-3 minutes for questions. Due to high demand for oral presentations, we request that there is one submission per first author of each presentation as we will not be able to accommodate multiple talks by one individual. It is acceptable for a person to co-author on multiple presentations, just not be the lead for more than one.
The poster session will be held Tuesday evening of the conference in the USFSP Ballroom. Poster size should be no more than 40 in high x 48 inches.
New this year! We are introducing Lightning Talks into the CIAC Conference. Lightning talks are standalone 5 minute talks (no time for questions). They can describe a work in progress, include new and untested ideas, or be a summary of a completed project. Lightning talks are brief and can be supported with or without presentation slides.
